Where: Tussey Mountain
What: Every Thursday in July there will be an outdoor concert and wing competition at Tussey Mountain. A winning wing vendor will be determined each week, with a final showdown taking place between all the previous winners on Aug. 7 to determine the Tussey Mountain Wing King. The event is open to all ages and will include other food vendors for those needing a palate cleanse.

Central PA Fourth Fest
When: July 4 (Friday)
Where: Downtown State College and University Park campus
What: State College’s longtime Fourth of July celebration will include a 4K run through Penn State campus, a downtown parade that begins at 11 a.m., a car show from 12-5 p.m. and a fireworks show at 9:45 p.m. Vendors will line the street all day offering food, crafts and entertainment.
