Results are in, and CentreDaily.com readers overwhelmingly let us know their top choice for brunch.
Breakfast on Boal received 46% of the vote in our poll asking about the best spot to grab brunch. The poll results match up with the recommendation of CDT reporter Keely Doll, who went there for the second week of our “Hungry in Happy Valley” series. The avocado toast is a standout, so If you’re heading to Boalsburg to celebrate Memorial Day this weekend, give it a try.
More than 600 votes were cast, the highest total so far in our restaurant polls this month. This poll was open May 18-23 and was just for fun.
The Original Waffle Shop on West College Avenue finished second with 12% of the vote, and the Hublersburg Inn finished third with 11%.
Readers also nominated The Corner Room as well as Webster’s Bookstore Cafe for its Sunday plant-based brunch.
